2026 Texas History Day T-Shirt Design Contest

Texas History Day (texashistoryday.com) encourages all students to submit a T-Shirt design for the 2025–2026 contest based on the annual theme. The winning design will be featured on the 2026 T-Shirt and sold at the 2026 state contest and online. The name of the winning student, school, and teacher will be posted on the Texas History Day 2026 website. In addition, the winning student will receive a free T-Shirt and $250, provided by AJL Advertising.

1. All entries must be postmarked or received by January 8, 2026.
2. All designs must be original art.
3. All designs must be limited to three colors.
4. Designs must have a connection to the 2025–2026 NHD Theme and relate to Texas.
5. Designs are not limited to one side. You may include front and back designs.
6. Designs will be used on short-sleeve T-Shirts and possibly on 1-1/4″ round buttons.
7. If you submit an electronic design, please also print and mail it to the address below.
8. By submitting an entry, you grant the Texas State Historical Association permission to use the design, to post it on the Texas History Day website, and to modify the design as necessary.
9. The winner will be notified by January 30, 2026.
10. One entry per student; each entry must be by an individual student.
11. There should be an obvious connection to Texas.
